Confirmation

In Baptism, God incorporates us into Christ's Holy Church. If we are Baptized as infants, there comes a time when it is very important that we affirm what God did and is doing in our lives through Baptism. This affirmation is done through something we call Confirmation. In order to prepare for that, we go through Confirmation Classes. Our classes at Metropolitan begin on Sunday, January 10 at 3 PM. A full schedule of class times will be posted soon.

Register Now! - Fall away at Camp Manidokan

Forget your busy lives and join us for a weekend of transformation, play, rest and worship. We will join together with the youth from Foundry UMC on a weekend retreat to Camp Manidokan October 23-25. You need to register for this no later than Friday, October 9. Space is limited, so get those forms in early. The fun begins

Join us Sunday, September 13 for our annual fall kickoff celebration. We'll get together in the youth room for introductions, followed by games and worship in the Great Hall. Did I mention food? Come find out about the exciting things going on in our youth ministry this fall.

Destination Unknown

Do you like surprises? For the next month during Youth Connection, we are going to surprise you with a mystery destination. To keep you on the edge of your seat, we will do the youth program from a different location each Sunday. We WILL still gather first in the youth room before we move to the mystery location. We hope to see you at Youth Connection this Sunday!

Rock Retreat 2009

"Don't let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith and purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

What an amazing weekend! Our trip to Ocean City/Bethany Beach for Rock 2009 was fabulous! Stellarkart, Youthful Praise, Masters Commission, Reggie Dabbs along with 13 youth and three other leaders made the weekend one to remember.

We've been to top of the mountain. Now where do we go? Remember that God will do far more than we can ever dream of or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Hold in your hearts your experiences this past week and remember how you were encouraged and challenged!

Also remember that "I got your back!"
